One Season
Taking its namesake from Australia’s endless summers, one season was founded in 2006 by resort wear designer Shani Anderson. Drawing much of her creative ethos from beachside living along Australia’s iconic coastlines and global holiday destinations, her signature throw-it-on silhouettes emerged.
While proudly Australian owned, one season has held a long international relationship of conscious design with our production house in Jaipur, India. Producing our collections with the same family run house for 16 years, we have grown to engage in-house teams and their kin under the creative direction of Shani Anderson. Our hands-on approach engages vibrant craftspeople, the latest technology alongside age old techniques of Chikankari embroidery and fabric dyed and dried in the open air. one season shines with craft, heritage and community through our exclusive journeys in print and colour.
One season remains loyal to conscious design and fashion’s ripple effect. Timeless garments in natural fibres are responsibly produced by inhouse teams with attention to detail and a holistic approach to sustainability.
